Precedent Study on the Tholsel building in the city of Kilkenny. 

I wanted to show the craft and skill of the construction to this iconic building of the city built in 1761. I used hardwood mahogany, from using a lathe and hand tools I created the model. I carved a scale model of the corner detail of the building. This helped me to investigate the building method of the time of construction compared to using more modern methods such as laser cutter or a cad model.
